Supreme Court grants bail to Manish Sisodia in Excise Policy case

The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has granted bail to Ex-Home Minister of Delhi Mr. Manish Sisodia in Excise policy case on 09-08-2024.

The court said that the Right to speedy trail is a fundamental right and delay in trail is not justified.

The court asked why trail not started even after the investigation is complete.

The court further said that Bail is rule and Jail is exception.

Mr. Manish Sisodia has been given bail by Hon’ble Supreme court of India on a Bail bond of Rs. Ten Lakhs and on some other conditions including deposit of passport and attendance in a local police station on couple of days every week.
